There are businesses where the internet works perfectly — with fibre or Starlink — and yet there's an area of the warehouse, a basement, or the whole building where company mobile phones have no coverage. Card terminals that depend on a data SIM, 4G-connected alarms, or simply an employee's phone that never rings: mobile signal and internet connection are different problems, and sometimes both need to be solved separately.

The problem isn't the carrier, it's the building

Industrial warehouses with metal or sandwich panels, basements, modern buildings with low-emissivity glass, or rural areas inland from Alicante and Murcia where the nearest mast is several kilometres away: in all these cases, the problem affects Movistar, Vodafone, Orange and Yoigo equally, because it's a signal propagation problem inside the building, not a coverage problem of any one network. Switching carrier solves nothing if the building's structure is blocking the signal.

How a certified repeater works

An outdoor donor antenna picks up the strongest available signal; an amplifier boosts it; and one or more indoor antennas redistribute the amplified signal throughout the building. The useful thing about multi-carrier equipment is that it amplifies all four main carriers simultaneously, with no need to choose one or configure anything per carrier. We use CE-certified equipment, approved for use in the European Union: an own-use, low-power installation requires no paperwork with the carrier, but the equipment must be certified — an uncertified unit can cause interference and is illegal.

When it makes sense to combine it with Starlink

Starlink solves internet bandwidth in areas without fibre; a 4G/5G repeater solves voice and mobile data signal for staff and for equipment that depends on a SIM — card terminals, alarms, corporate telephony. They're independent systems that we frequently install together in rural warehouses or farms in the Vega Baja, where neither fibre nor 4G reach reliably, and where the business needs both problems solved to operate normally.

Does it work for several carriers at once?

Yes, a multi-carrier repeater simultaneously amplifies Movistar, Vodafone, Orange and Yoigo — and the virtual mobile operators that run on their networks — with no per-carrier configuration needed.

Do I need the carrier's authorisation to install it?

No, CE-certified, low-power, own-use equipment intended for a single building needs no paperwork with the carrier. What does matter is using approved equipment: an uncertified unit can cause interference and is illegal.

Does it work for large industrial warehouses?

It depends on the surface area and internal obstacles; in large warehouses, several indoor antennas are connected to the same amplifier to cover the whole area without dead zones. We usually carry out a prior coverage study to size the equipment correctly.

Does it amplify 5G too, or just 4G?

Current equipment amplifies 4G bands and the low 5G bands, which are the ones that actually provide indoor coverage. High-band 5G (mmWave) is barely used outside a few specific urban areas in Spain, so in practice a properly sized repeater covers a building's real needs.
