Installer of Starlink in Orihuela Costa

We are in Torrevieja, less than twenty minutes from La Zenia, Cabo Roig or Campoamor. We work in Spanish, English, German, French and Russian, which in this area is no small matter.

Orihuela Costa has one characteristic that shapes any internet installation: it is an area of scattered residential developments, many built over several decades and with wildly uneven infrastructure between one and the next. Two villas three hundred metres apart can face completely different connectivity situations.

When the connection available on the plot does not deliver what is needed — or there is simply no reasonable alternative — Starlink solves the problem. But it is worth doing properly first time, because here coastal wind meets salt air, and an improvised installation shows its age far sooner than it would inland.

The holiday home that stands empty for months

This is the most common situation in the area, and usually the most poorly resolved. A property occupied a few weeks a year and shut up the rest of the time. The owner wants to view the cameras from their home country, check that nobody has broken in, that there is no leak, that the air conditioning has not been left running.

This is where a technical obstacle appears that almost nobody warns you about before you buy the equipment: Starlink operates behind CGNAT and does not provide a public IP. In plain terms: you will be able to browse normally, but you will not be able to connect to your cameras from outside. It makes no difference whether you open ports on the router or sign up for a DDNS service; neither works in that situation.

We solve this with a dedicated tunnel that gives you a genuine fixed public IP, so your installation becomes reachable from anywhere, exactly as it would be on a business fibre line.

Residents' associations and regulations

Installing on a townhouse, a bungalow or an apartment within a development is not the same as working on an isolated property. There are usually association statutes governing what may be fixed to the façade or roof, and communal elements that cannot be drilled without authorisation.

This is a genuine obstacle that stops many installations, and it is striking how little it gets discussed. Our approach is simple: we first look at whether there is a viable position within your own private property — private terrace, roof terrace, patio — and we only propose a communal element when there is no alternative, setting out in writing what permission you would need. We would rather tell you there is a problem than charge you for an installation you are later ordered to remove.

We deal with you in your own language

In Orihuela Costa a significant share of owners do not have Spanish as their first language. Explaining over the phone where a dish will go, what work it involves and what guarantee it carries, in a language you are not fluent in, is a constant source of misunderstandings.

We work in Spanish, English, German, French and Russian. This is not a marketing line: it is what allows you to understand exactly what will be done to your home and what you are signing.

How we work here

The procedure is the same one we apply across the province, with two coastal refinements: the mounting is calculated with sea wind in mind, and all cabling is sealed, because salt air corrodes any unprotected connector within weeks.

And something that matters especially in an area of holiday homes: we have a physical office in Torrevieja, on Plaza Internacional. You can come and meet us before hiring us, and you know where to find us afterwards. We are not a company that drives in from another province and disappears.

Frequently asked questions

How quickly can you get to Orihuela Costa?

We are based in Torrevieja, so most of Orihuela Costa is less than twenty minutes away. In this area we can usually offer an appointment the same day or the next, which is a real difference compared with companies travelling out from Alicante city or from inland.

I live outside Spain most of the year. Can you install without me being there?

We can, provided someone can give us access to the property: a managing agent, a trusted neighbour or a maintenance company. We send you the survey and the quotation in writing before carrying out any work, and photographs of the finished installation. What we do not do is enter a property without express written authorisation from the owner.

Will I be able to view my cameras from my home country?

Yes, but you need a fixed public IP: Starlink runs behind CGNAT and by default does not allow outside access to cameras or any other equipment in the house. Opening ports or signing up for a DDNS does not fix it. We solve it with a dedicated tunnel that gives you a genuine fixed public IP.

I live in a development with a residents' association. Can I still install?

Normally yes, but it depends on the statutes and on where the dish has to be fixed. We first look for a viable position within your own private property — terrace, roof terrace or private patio — which is what avoids having to request permission. If the only technically viable option were a communal element, we tell you before invoicing anything and set out what authorisation you would need.

Can you deal with me in English or German?

Yes. We work in Spanish, English, German, French and Russian, both on the visit and in follow-up support. In an area with such an international population, we consider it basic that the customer understands exactly what is being installed in their home.

Will a dish withstand the coastal wind and salt air?

It will if it is properly installed. We anchor to a wall or mast with a fixing rated for 150 km/h, rather than the weighted tripod in the kit, and we seal all cabling with IP67 waterproof connectors. Salt air is what destroys the improvised installations in this area: it seeps by capillary action into any unsealed connector and corrodes the contacts within a few weeks.

Do you need internet in Orihuela Costa?

We carry out a feasibility survey free of charge. If Starlink is not the best option for your property, we will tell you so.
